HANDCRAFTED EXPERIENTIAL SAFARIS

Trust us to find you the rarest animals, the most spectacular wildlife events, the remotest landscapes and deeply meaningful cultural encounters!

About Tsingy de Namoroka National Park

Tsingy de Namoroka National Park in the remote northwest of Madagascar is known for its spectacular Tsingy rock formations, caves, natural swimming pools and endemic animal and bird species.

This scenic landscape offers unforgettable hikes through lush forests and giant baobab trees teeming with lemurs, vibrant birds, and fascinating reptiles. Beneath these landscapes lie awe-inspiring caves, where ancient fossils and traces of early human life await discovery as well as fossil remains of species such as the Archaeolemur, a giant lemur species with a body mass of up to 26kg which went extinct, along with much of Madagascar’s megafuna about 1,000 years ago.

Tsingy de Namoroka National Park hosts the incredibly secretive aye-aye, the fossa - Madagsacar's largest carnivore - and ten lemur species, including Von der Dicken’s sifaka, Milne-Edwards sportive lemur, and red lemur.

Birdwatchers, too, will be delighted with over 100 species, including endemics such as sickle-billed and hook-billed vangas, greater and lesser vasa parrots, Coquerel's and giant couas and Madagascar buttonquail.

Why choose us to craft your safari?

Handcrafted experiential safaris since 1991.

Travel in Africa is about knowing when and where to go, and with whom. A few weeks too early/late or a few kilometres off course, and you could miss the greatest show on Earth. And wouldn’t that be a pity?
